Chambers Bay Grill over looks the Puget Sound and the Chambers Bay Golf Course. It is a beautiful setting with tasty food but a bit on the expensive side. The indoor ambiance is slightly lacking in that the furnishings have a very stark, cold feel to them. The outdoor deck seating is beautiful and I would recommend asking for a seat outside if one is available. The service was friendly and fast. They have a full bar and seating at the bar top.
The menu is small and expensive but the few selections we tried were easy on the taste buds. I ordered the small Cobb salad that was $9. The portion was big enough to be called an entree. It had both shrimp and chicken on it along with bacon, egg, blue cheese crumbles and tomatoes. My dinner partners ordered the hamburger with bacon and a fried egg on top served along side of fries, $13, and the fish and chips, $14. The burger was amazing. The bun was what they called a brioche bun that looked a lot like a flaky croissant. The fish and chips were perfectly golden brown and moist. I would go back for the burger for sure.
I would recommend this place for a nice dinner out with out of town guests or a summer night on the deck with your sweetheart when you want to splurge a bit. A walk on the path around the golf course after dinner would make for a great date night.
