~ When buying meat in bulk, make up a marinade in the bag before splitting up into meal sized portions. Makes for a no-fuss meal as it marinates while thawing.

~ Save your left over chicken carcass and boil the bones down for stock. Just add some salt, pepper, thyme, onion, garlic and celery and boil. Strain out the veggies, bones and meat. Freeze up to 6 mo. in individual containers.
