An Adventure in Cheese

With the help of a Groupon we took our first cheese making class last week at River Valley Cheese. We took the Just Mozzarella Cheesemaking Experience class and it was great! The instructor is very too the point and keeps the class moving at a good pace while taking questions throughout. You will learn what milk is best for cheese making and what milk will not work at all no matter what you try. During the 1 1/2 hour class you will see a demonstration of the whole process from start to finish. You will even be able to taste fresh mozzarella fresh from the brine. So good.

Another perk of the class is that you are treated to a smorgasbord of different cheeses that are made by River Valley Cheese. I was amazed at how many different cheeses you can make just be changing the temperature of the milk! We really enjoyed the class and would go back for others.
