Caramel Corn
I just found this recipe in an old binder. It is written on a sticky note from my mom. I have no idea where we found the original recipe, all I remember is this stuff is addictive. So thought I would share it with you. Nothing says holiday like Caramel Corn, well to me anyway!
Ingredients:
2 cups Light Brown Sugar
1 cup Butter
1 Tbsp Salt
1/2 cup White Corn Syrup
1 tsp Baking Soda
Melt butter in pot, add brown sugar, salt and corn syrup. Bring to a rolling boil, about 5 mins. Add baking soda and stir like crazy, it will puff up. Dump over 6 quarts popped popcorn.
Bake a 200 degrees for 1 hour. Stir every 15 mins.
