The sushi is expertly prepared and presented. The fish is fresh and tasty. One of the best rolls on the menu is the 69 roll. A tempura fried shrimp is at the center with creamy spicy scallops piled over the top along with wasabi fish roe. The combination is heavenly. I recommend the gyoza sauce a dipping sauce for the sushi. Speaking of gyoza, Fujiya really knows how to make it. The gyoza is always tender and flavorful, I recommend the pan fried version. The also have a good selection of saki, beer and wine. For your non-sushi eating friends, they are welcome too. Fujiya has a great selection of chicken and steak dishes.
For a table of 2 that orders, saki, an appetizer, 2 rolls and some a' la carte sushi you are looking at spending $50-$70 depending on what you choose. But if you go Mon - Thur and sit at the bar, it is all you can eat for around $21.
The Verde roll. One of my favorites. |
