First Potatoes

Yesterday, I dug up my first potatoes of the season and the first potatoes I have grown in my own garden, ever.  I mean I have grown them before back home at The Farm but never on my own, at my own house!  So another first to be marked!  I dug them out with my brand new potato fork that my step-mom found for me back home.  They are crazy expensive over here in western Washington.  $40!  She found one for $25 at the local hardware store.  I was excited to get it in the dirt!  Here is my first bounty of potatoes, plus a few onions that popped out too.  I still have a few more plants in the ground but I figure I will leave them there until we need them.
