Harvest Time

Fall is my favorite season of the year. I love the harvest. There is something so comforting about putting up food for the winter, be it canning, freezing or just eating things fresh from the garden. My other half was gone this last weekend so I went and spent the day canning blackberry jam with my sister-in-law and she was kind enough to share some of the bounty from her garden.
